In the spring 1945 the soldiers, who came to Germany and which felt taste of the victory, pack euphoria. The men return already to thoughts on the peaceful life. They have to be pleased the desire and love. Gluschkov follows this desire and falls in love with German of name Erna. Representatives, both hostilely adjusted countries, love themselves. Its comrades understand their commander, but the superiors see that reluctantly. Soldiers, who already accepted that the war to end are, are shifted from Germany after the east, where the war between Soviet Union and Japan begins. Under these also Gluschkov are and its soldiers.
