Snegurotchka
The film is based on the play of famous Russian writer A.N.Ostrovsky. Snyegurochka ('snow maiden') is a daughter of Father Frost and Beauty Spring. Her ice heart had never known simple human feelings - joy, love. Not until she has met a yuong man Lel. His love and wormth give Snyegurochka richness of the world around her, kindle the heart of cold beauty. Spiritual images of nature, cheerful dances, folk games, songs - all these components are included in the fairy tale.
